Vocational Nursing
The purpose of the program is to prepare graduate vocational nurses as beginning practitioners who are competent and self-directed to function under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or dentist. These graduates will be able to assume the role of a licensed vocational nurse, after taking and passing the National Council for Licensed Practical Nurse for the State of Texas Examination (NCLEX - PN). In doing so, vocational nurses will be prepared to better serve themselves, the community, and society as a whole. |
| Cosmetology The Cosmetology program provides graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to pass the Texas Cosmetology Commission (TCC) Examination and to function as a competent cosmetologist. |

Development This program carries a one-year certificate, an A.A.S. degree, and an Enhanced Skills Certificate. This curriculum is designed to develop basic skills, attitudes and competencies necessary for personnel to provide high-quality care and early education in preschool and child care centers. |

Enforcement The Law Enforcement A.A.S. degree program provides education and training for students planning careers in federal, state, or local law enforcement. |
